Ponderosa Packaging came to us to define a cohesive identity for both the parent brand and its upcoming product line, FlexVault—serving a client base rooted in industrial and military environments. The challenge was to create something that felt durable and dependable, without defaulting to overly rigid or dated visual language. We built the Ponderosa identity around a structured yet approachable wordmark, paired with a geometric symbol derived from the silhouette of a box—doubling as an abstract “V” to subtly reinforce the brand’s form and function. A palette of rugged reds and military greens, layered with tactile textures, grounds the brand in its environment while maintaining a sense of clarity and control.
FlexVault was developed as a distinct but connected sub-brand—more direct, more product-driven. Its identity leans into a sturdy, stencil-inspired type paired with a clean sans-serif to communicate strength and precision. Across both brands, the system was extended into web, catalogs, and motion—ensuring consistency while allowing each to operate with its own level of emphasis and clarity in market-facing applications.
