Komik Energy Drinks was built around a clear gap in the category—something stronger than coffee, but without the intensity or crash of traditional energy drinks. The idea centered on feel-good energy: sustained, light, and optimistic. We rooted the brand in a sense of 90s nostalgia, drawing from a time when energy felt effortless and expressive—skateboards, stereos, technicolor worlds, and the freedom of youth. That translated into a highly character-driven identity, where the logomark itself becomes the hero. By transforming the “O” into a playful, expressive character, the brand gains an immediate sense of personality and motion—something that feels alive across every touchpoint. This extended into a bold, saturated color system and packaging inspired by comic book culture, layered with hand-drawn doodles and graphic bursts that evoke spontaneity and creativity. The result is a brand that feels energetic without being aggressive—positioned as a lighter, more balanced alternative in a category that often defaults to extremes.
